The area of the Park 13 is underlain by granite, alkali feldspar granite batholith of the Paleocene to Eocene Sloko-Hyder Plutonic Suite. This body intrudes Mesozoic sedimentary and volcanic rocks along the eastern margin of the Coast Plutonic Complex.

Chalcopyrite, malachite, and pyrite was observed in quartz-carbonate breccia veins in a major shear zone near the south boundary of the Park 13 claim. The steeply dipping (84 degree southeast) shear zone is up to 25 metres wide and has been traced over 500 metres along a 32 degrees strike. A sample (18408) of the breccia material yielded weak copper values (0.53 per cent copper) (Assessment Report 22208).

In 1991 the Sutlahine property was staked by Consolidated Parklane Resources Inc. as the Park 10-13 claims and optioned to Slocan Development Corp. Ltd. The Park claims covered approximately two thirds of the area previously covered by the B, S and J claims (104K 029), including two of the five copper showings. Work in 1991, consisted of geological mapping (1:5000), prospecting and rock sampling (32 samples), reconnaissance soil sampling (109 samples over 5.1 km) and silt sampling (12 samples).

In 2020 Brixton Metals Corporation completed 3,025 metres of drilling in 16 core holes on the new Central Outlaw and West Outlaw zones on their Thorn property. A total of 1473 rock samples and 5588 soil samples were also collected throughout their expanded Thorn property including on the West Target area that contains the Westarg showings. Two rock samples yielded 4.3 per cent copper and 1.6 per cent copper and a third between 0.1 to 1 per cent (Figure 5-15, Press Release, Brixton Metals Corp., Dec.15, 2020). These samples plot in the area of the original Park 13 MINFILE showing.

Refer to Thorn (104K 031), Chivas (104K 180), East Outlaw (104K 083) and Oban (104K 168) for details of the work history of the greater Thorn property.
